Concarneau/ Quimper

The clock tower on the bridge, Ville Close

The front of Quimper Cathedral. The inside is polychromatic.
After a lazy day Friday visiting the market and walking the walls of the Ville Close and enjoying very large French icecreams. Phil and I decided to catch a bus to Quimper to see what we could see. The town is very pretty on the banks of the Odet. There was a display of fly fishing in the river which was quite low. Some really posh shops and a beautiful cathedral. Rona and Nick decided to move on Sunday but we stayed as we had more exploring to do. The weather has gone from really hot to miserable and overcast and heavy with lots of flies.
