Waiting for weather in Cherbourg

The sea front architecture of  La Baule. This small town has everything from modern to fairy castles to wonderful Art Deco Hotels. A trip on the dotto was fun as we saw a lot of the sea front.

The bridge from the Marina to the town at low tide. Locals spend a lot of time Peche a Pied here. There is a large drain and notices about the dangerous organisms in the sea food!!!

Trisheen. The type of vessel found in Pornichet. 90 feet perhaps with two crew
to deliver for owner.

Lunch. 9.20 euros per Kilogram and live(if a little tired) until cooked by
me. This is a kilo. Mr and Mrs Piggy really enjoyed.

Entrance to Pornichet which is sharp right as you bounce across the bay in less than 2 metres of water. Straight a head is what appears to be the port when you suddenly realise it is all sand and that is the drying harbour. Turn to Starboard rapidly.
